FIELD: radar.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to over-the-horizon radar (OTHR), specifically to a method for regularized detection of useful signals of over-the-horizon radar with non-stationary ionospheric-spatial propagation of radio waves (ISPRW). Method can be used in conditions of critical action on reception of location signals of the ionosphere as a non-stationary medium of radio wave propagation (RWP), all kinds of active and passive interference. In the disclosed method of regularized detection (RGD), a reference signal (RS) of an over-the-horizon radar (OTHR) and its main components – model representations of passive interference and the received response from the Target – are formed at the beginning of each current processing interval TPROC of the received signals. On interval TPROC, not exceeding interval Δtst rel relative stationarity ISPRW, reference signal of OTHR and its main components are formed with required RGD for regularization of solutions with limited space of Z parameters of the composition of the complex of model representations API of the intrinsic radiophysical characteristics (RPC) of all elements of the location route – sources of passive interference PI, equivalent to their complex multiplicative action (MP-action) on LCS on route, to space {Ẑ} of their allowable parameters within the space {Z} of their possible parameters [{Ẑ}∈{Z}]. As well as with a regularizing restriction of the space of Z parameters of model representations AT of own RPC of potential Targets, which are equivalent to their MP-action on the LCS on the route, to space {Ẑ} of their allowable parameters within space {Z} of their possible parameters [{Ẑ}∈{Z}].

EFFECT: correct formation in conditions of non-stationary ISPRW of a reference signal of a regularized detector and its main components.
