SUBSTANCE: result is achieved by using model operation control block is connected to the ionospheric operation support block, the signal and interference generation block, the radar signal processing block, the radar information trajectory processing and classification block, the simulated information display block, the model database maintenance and administration block, which converts information for subsequent reproduction and documentation in accordance with the selected interval, and by using the database block, with a block for opening and carrying out information registration, the block for displaying simulated information, the block for recording information and the block for generating output information, while the block for generating signals and interference is additionally connected in series with the radar signal processing block, the trajectory information processing and classification block, and the database block.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of assessment of the combat effectiveness of a stand-alone radio engineering unit (SREU) for over-the-horizon detection (OHD) by improving the accuracy of modeling the phono-target situation (PTS) in conditions of ionospheric instability.
