FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to plastic surgery. Periareolar skin incision is performed to form an areola of the required diameter. Submuscular cavity for the implant is formed. Implant is placed under a greater pectoral muscle. Lower pole of the mammary gland is fixed with a continuous blanket suture with PDS 3/0 to the proper fascia of the chest in a projection of the submammary fold. Mammary gland is mobilized subcutaneously periareolar to 4 cm, two subcutaneous U-sutures are applied in a single plane perpendicularly oriented at 6-12 and 3-9 o'clock on a clock face, passing through a nipple-areola complex. Intradermal periareolar suture with PDS 3/0 is applied.
EFFECT: method enables creating an optimal aesthetic shape of the glands, obtaining a stable size of areolas and a thin periareolar scar.
