FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, more specifically to surgery. After the endovidsurgical intervention, the aponeurosis suture line is reinforced within the umbilical port using a polypropylene mesh graft. Polypropylene graft is fixed with tolerance of 2–5 mm from the conditional median line, which is determined visually when the graft is bent into two equal halves. Ligatures used to close the incision of the white line of the abdomen together with the peritoneum, which are previously clamped, are used as retainers.
EFFECT: method enables to create a preventive, technologically simple and non-material-containing mean for preventing possible formation of trocar hernias after endovideosurgical intervention, prevent development of postoperative complications and occurrence of trocar hernias.
