METHOD OF LAPAROSCOPIC HERNIOPLASTY OF VENTRAL HERNIAS Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2453277 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to laparoscopic surgery of hernias. After creation of pneumoperitoneum with 3-4 cm indent from hernial orifice, peritoneum is opened from the abdominal cavity side on the course of the left rectus. Peritoneum is separated in direction of hernial orifice from posterior leaf of rectus aponeurosis. Recess in preperitoneal space is formed. Hernial sac is isolated and invaginated. Separation of peritoneum at the distance 3-4 cm from the edge of hernial orifice is continued. Implant is sewn with ligatures on the side opposite to cut on peritoneum after its introduction into recess and implant angles. Implant is introduced into recess in such a way that sewn side is located on the right of hernial orifice, and both sides, half-sewn are located higher and lower than hernial orifice. Upper angle is fixed, then right side, right lower angle, sewn with ligatures half of lower side and half of upper side. Implant is smoothed, the remaining half of lower side is fixed, then lower left angle, the remaining half of upper side and upper left angle. Fixation is completed, sewing left side. In fixation device for implant fixation in endoscopic hernioplasty is used.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to ensure high-quality implant installation and fixation, reduce the number of post-operative complications and ensure good cosmetic effect.
