FIELD: medicine; plastic surgery.
SUBSTANCE: preoperative marking of the mammary gland, marking the rippling areas on the skin of the mammary gland, dissecting the skin according to the preliminary marking in the inframammary fold, dissection of breast tissue and implant capsule. Posterior leaf of the implant capsule is dissected. Capsular flap is mobilized towards the rippling section to the transitional fold of the posterior leaf of the capsule to the anterior leaflet. Cut capsular flap is lifted from the chest wall and fixed to the inner surface of the anterior leaf of the capsule with separate interrupted sutures so that the flap covers the rippling section.
EFFECT: method enables increasing the efficiency of the operation and reducing the risk of complications associated with the contouring of the implant, eliminating the recurrence of rippling, and achieving the optimal aesthetic result.
