FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used in treating pyoinflammatory processes of soft tissues. Method involves washing a purulent focus and conducting a local drug therapy using chlorhexidine solution. Purulent focus is washed with 3% hydrogen peroxide, local drug therapy is carried out using water-alcohol solution of chlorhexidine, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: chlorhexidine 0.05% – 50%, rectified ethyl alcohol 95% – 21.1%, distilled water – 28.9%. A wet dressing impregnated with a water-alcohol solution of chlorhexidine is applied on wound 6–8 times a day until the wound is completely epithelised and the inflammation signs disappear. Therapeutic course is 5–15 days.
EFFECT: using the invention enables treating pyoinflammatory processes of soft tissues effectively without developing gastrointestinal complications.
