FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of processing powder materials in a plasma jet. Electric arc plasmatron includes a coaxially installed cathode unit with a cathode, an anode unit with an anode, a unit for annular introduction of initial reagents into a thermal plasma flow. As the initial reagents annular input unit, the annular input unit is used, which is installed coaxially to the anode unit end, between the cathode and the anode there is an interelectrode insert in the form of a sectional channel, the sections of which are electrically insulated from each other and from the electrodes. Unit for circular input of initial reagents into electric arc plasmatron is an annular receiver with two points of input of powder material by means of carrier gas, system of distributed slot channels with a radius profile at the inlet of the plasmatron channel.
EFFECT: increased uniformity of input of initial reagents into plasma jet at minimum axial dimensions of input device.
