SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the technical field of processing tires and, in particular, to a method and device for making tires. Disclosed is a method and device for making tires. Proposed method for making tires comprises adjusting initial diameters of backing plate assembly, retainer locking assembly and central drum assembly, and gluing size-setting material. Further, the tire bead ring is installed outside the retainer locking assembly, increasing the retainer locking assembly diameter and ensuring the retainer locking assembly adjoining the tire bead ring and its fixation The method includes installing the side ring of the tire outside the locking assembly of the retainer, increasing the diameter of the locking assembly of the retainer and ensuring that the locking assembly of the retainer fits to the side ring of the tire and locks it. The method also includes adjusting the diameter of the lining plate assembly and the middle drum assembly in such a way that the outer surfaces of the lining plate assembly, the locking lock assembly and the middle drum assembly are aligned relative to each other. The method includes inverting the pivot rod assembly to glue the sizing material to the side surface of the tire and moving the pivot rod assembly in the opposite direction and resetting after gluing; reducing the diameters of the backing plate assembly, the locking lock assembly and the middle drum assembly and removing the tire from the main shaft.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables to process a plurality of tires of different size classes, wherein it is necessary to adjust only said diameter without replacing the side drum, thereby providing a simple and fast production of a plurality of tires of different size classes, which not only saves time and labour costs, but also increases efficiency of processing, thereby avoiding various costs caused by replacement of the side drum; besides, multiple tires of different size classes are processed by one device, which reduces production costs.
