FIELD: drilling of soil or rocks.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for cleaning drilling fluids from particles of cuttings and broken glass microspheres and can be used in oil and other industries. Settler for gravity cleaning of drilling mud containing hollow glass microspheres, including horizontally oriented housing, wherein base of housing is made in form of truncated cone, directed downwards, with sprinklers in upper part of settling tank, fresh water supply branch pipe to the settling tank, wherein the sprinklers are connected to the fresh water supply branch pipe to the settling tank, the spent drilling fluid supply branch pipe to the settling tank, outlet branch pipe for pumping out sediment in the base of the settling tank, outlet branch pipe for cleaned drilling mud, wherein cleaned mud outlet branch pipe is located above sediment level.
EFFECT: increased degree of drilling mud cleaning, including cleaning from broken microspheres, maximum preservation of glass microspheres remained intact.
