FIELD: fastening accessories.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bolts. Disclosed is a self-drilling bolt with a tear-off drilling part, which includes bolt head 2, bolt rod 1, threaded part 3, drilling part 4. Connection of drilling part 4 and rod of bolt 1 is carried out by means of axial connection 5. Outer diameter of drilling part 4 corresponds to the outer diameter of the rod of bolt 1. Bolt 1 has recesses 7 for removal of chips. Axial connection 5 of drilling part 4 and the rod of bolt 1 has chamfer 6 located on axial connection 5 at the point of contact with plane 8 with which the rod of bolt 1 ends. Recesses for removal of chips 7 start from said plane 8 of the bolt rod.
EFFECT: development of bolt with possibility of hole drilling without thread cutting and further removal of drilling element for decorative purposes and to ensure safety and reliability.
