SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a horizontal roller installation for coating and a method of replacing rollers of this horizontal roller installation for coating. Coating installation includes a bed, a top nozzle roller for coating, upper nozzle for application of coating, installed on roller of upper nozzle for application of coating, a lower coating nozzle roll and a lower coating nozzle mounted on the lower coating nozzle roll; next to the upper roller guide there is a roller replacement device; device for replacing rollers at least includes one set of support mechanism for replacement of rollers, support mechanism for replacement of rollers includes support lever and drive assembly of support lever; support lever is provided with support part for support and protection of upper coating roller, support lever drive assembly drives the support lever to move between a roller replacement position and a standby position; in the roller replacement position, the support part supports the old roller or sets the new roller to the required position. Invention also relates to a method of replacing rolls of said horizontal roller coating installation.

EFFECT: by arranging the roller replacement device next to the coating roller machine by means of the support lever support function, the invention can facilitate the replacement of the top coating roller, efficiently reducing labor intensity of replacement of roller for application of top coating for service personnel, reducing working load on service personnel and reducing working time.
