FIELD: machine tool industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for fastening of automatic coupler of railway car during milling of its surface. Device comprises a plate, on the upper side of which there is a rotary plate with an automatic coupling locking mechanism, a rotary plate turning mechanism located on the plate, which includes a geared motor and a turning locking device, and a control unit connected to the geared motor by means of a power cable. At that, locking mechanism is made in form of housing with recess, repeating shape of head part of automatic coupling, and located on the body of the main support—at its end on the side of the recess—at least two supplied supports with the possibility of adjustable extension from the body and interaction with the lower side of the automatic coupling, upper clamp—above said recess with possibility of interaction with upper side of automatic coupling, at least one lateral support—from one of lateral sides of housing, side clamp—on the opposite side of the housing and a tail support with a tail clamp and a tail side clamp on the housing end opposite to the recess with the possibility of interaction with the tail part of the automatic coupling.
