SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device for video recording with slow motion. Result is achieved by the fact that the electronic device includes a video recording function; after the video recording operation assigned by the user is detected, if the initiation of slow-motion shooting is detected, displaying the possible image frames on the frame selection interface, where possible image frames contain multiple image frames; obtaining an initial frame and an ending frame, which are set by the user based on possible image frames; and generating a target video, where the target video contains a slow-motion video clip, the slow-motion video clip corresponds to the start frame and the end frame, and the frame rate of the slow-motion video clip is higher than the frame rate of the slow-motion video clip.

EFFECT: providing the possibility for the user in the process of video recording to accurately set the place of the beginning and the end of the video clip with slow motion.
