FIELD: video playback means.

SUBSTANCE: loading video from server into player. Video content of the metadata specifying resolution and cropping parameters and corresponding to the individual user device is checked. If metadata are detected, a video frame is obtained and a focal point is set at its center. Field of view is determined proceeding from the frame and reduction or increase of video resolution within this field of view on the basis of metadata. Viewing area is displayed such that the vertical size of the view region corresponds to the vertical dimension of the user device, and the focus point remains in the center of the viewing area and in the center of the user device. When the user rotates the device, the repeated display of the frame is performed such that the focus point remains in the center of the device, and the horizontal size of the viewing area corresponds to the horizontal size of the user device, and portions of the screen above the viewing region and under it are transmitted in black. Further frames of video, layers and/or effects are continued to be rendered according to steps described above.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of reproduced video for playback device.
