FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: present technical proposal relates to public utility machines, in particular to machines for winter snow removal on house territories, equipped with snow compacting devices. Compact snow baler consists of a chassis with a power plant, an auger baler, a feeding device, a cylindrical press chamber, an unloading chute and accumulator for transportation of pressed snow briquettes to places of storage or loading. Compact snow baler is similar in its general layout and device to the common and widely used manual snow-removing machines. On the chassis with the power plant in the front part there is an auger pickup, which collects snow from the cleaned surface, behind it there is a feeding device, the task of which is to move snow into a cylindrical press chamber located at a certain design height h, above the level of snow collection and unloading of briquette. Geometrical dimensions of cylindrical press-chamber and stroke of its movable part are chosen so that volume of snow supplied to it is approximately 3 times more than compacted briquette. Unloading chute consists of receiving chamber and inclined slide. Receiving chamber of unloading chute is located coaxially with outlet hole of press chamber at height h sufficient for free rolling of briquette along slide into accumulator or to ground, slide is fixed movably on chassis with power plant at preset angle so that its inclination to track surface can be adjusted.
EFFECT: compact snow baler design is disclosed.
