FIELD: radar equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar equipment and can be used to increase the effective scattering area (ESA) of objects. Device is based on measuring the ESA of a convex radar object (CRO) separated by two parallel planes spaced from each other at distance of 10 times greater than the radio wavelength, orthogonal to the direction of radio emission and forming flat metallized surfaces of CRO parts, rigidly held by a radiotransparent fastener made of radiotransparent material in the form of a spherical lens from a dielectric, the dielectric constant of which lies within the limits of ε≈2…4. Disclosed device makes it possible to increase the ESA of objects and simultaneously distort their radar images, increasing the size of the outline of the object up to two times.
EFFECT: increased power of signals reflected by objects with distortion of their radar images in geometrical dimensions slightly exceeding contour of objects.
