FIELD: various technological processes; measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for determining contact forces required in metal forming, and can be used in machine building, in particular in incremental shaping. Essence: working element of deforming tool is installed with possibility of axial movement and rotational movement, as well as impact by its lower part on strain gauges available in tool, by means of which the force is measured when acting on the working element, by transmitting the signal to the conversion module, having its signal converter for each sensor, after which the obtained information is transmitted from the conversion module to a data processing module comprising a microcontroller, unit with microcircuits for each sensor and LCD display. Microcontroller firmware is used to sequentially read data from microcircuits and transmit data to personal computer, where they are processed, as well as to LCD display. Using software on a personal computer, a graphical interface is displayed and updated in accordance with the read data.
EFFECT: increased sensitivity and accuracy of measurement of forces and moments at incremental shaping, as well as improved quality of obtained products.
