FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: longitudinal hose method of sprinkling crops in motion consists in installation on the irrigated strip on the side of the irrigation network of a tractor with a sprinkler, equipped with rain-forming devices and a hose for supplying water to the sprinkler, so that the longitudinal line of symmetry of the tractor and the sprinkler coincides with the longitudinal line of symmetry of the strip, and rear ends of rain-forming devices and sleeves for water supply to sprinkler coincide with front edge of strip. Drum is transported by the tractor to the front edge of the strip and installed with the possibility of attaching the free end of the sleeve to it. Hose is connected to the drum, to which the water supply hose from the hydrant is then connected, the hydrant is opened, water under pressure is supplied through the hose to the drum and then through the hose to the apparatus and its rain-forming devices. Rain-forming devices release water jets and scatter them in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal symmetry line of the irrigated strip, wherein both to the left and to the right of it—along the flanks, in this position of the tractor and the sprinkler, part of the irrigated strip conjugated with its front line is irrigated for 2–3 minutes, note here that it covers irrigated area along strip by length equal to length of rain-forming devices. Then the tractor begins to move forward along the line of symmetry of the watered strip, simultaneously the sleeve is unwound from the drum, rain-forming devices release water jets and scatter them in direction perpendicular to sprinkler movement, wherein both to the left and to the right of the longitudinal line of symmetry of the irrigated strip—along the flanks and covering the irrigated area along this strip by a length exceeding the width of the sprinkler. When the sprinkler reaches the opposite side of the irrigated strip, the tractor also stops for 2–3 minutes, where part of the irrigated strip conjugated with the named side is irrigated. Then the hydrant is disconnected, the sleeve is disconnected from the sprinkler and the drum is brought into reverse rotation, where the sleeve is wound on it to the initial position, the rain-forming devices are brought into the transport position. Further, the tractor enters the headland, turns through 180° and moves in opposite direction along road adjacent to treated lane, and enters the adjacent watered strip, is installed on it in the same way as on the watered strip, thereafter, the drum is transported by the tractor to the front edge of the strip to be connected to the free end of the hose. Hose is attached to the drum, to which the hose is then attached to supply water from the hydrant, the hydrant is opened, and the sprinkling cycle is repeated.
EFFECT: continuous movement of the sprinkler during irrigation is provided with increased speed of movement and, as a result, higher efficiency of hose-type sprinklers of drum type is achieved.
