FIELD: elastomers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for isolating elastomers from solution polymerization using aqueous degassing. A method has been proposed for isolating elastomers from solution polymerization by the method of aqueous degassing in the form of crumbs by preliminary emulsifying a solution of the elastomer in water in an intensive mixer in a polymerizate : water ratio equal to (50-70) : (50-30) wt.% followed by feeding a thin emulsion into degassing apparatus, where a polymer product obtained by interaction of butyl methacrylate and itaconic acid, pre-mixed with calcium chloride in a ratio of 1.0 : (0.2-0.5) wt.%, with a total amount of anti-agglomerator of 0.5, is used as an anti-agglomerator - 1.5 kg per ton of elastomer.
EFFECT: improved method for isolating solution polymerization elastomers by eliminating the use of maleinated toxic and biodegradable products, eliminating the stage of preparing an anti-agglomerator, obtaining homogeneous non-stick crumbs of a given size with a reduced ash content in rubbers and thermoplastic elastomers.
