FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: described is a method of producing an anti-agglomerator for synthetic rubber, which includes feeding into a container with a mixer a steam condensate or desalted water and heating to 80°C; adding calcium stearate powder while stirring; stirring the obtained aqueous suspension of calcium stearate with concentration of 5-15 wt % for 3-5 hours and diluting with the steam condensate or desalted water to concentration of 2-5.4 wt %; continuously circulating the obtained aqueous suspension of calcium stearate on a loop which includes a tubular turbulent apparatus of a diffuser-confusor structure for not less than 5 hours to obtain an aqueous suspension of calcium stearate with particle diameter in the range of 0.76-25 mcm.
EFFECT: reduced particle size of the anti-agglomerator and reduced amount of the anti-agglomerator per rubber to achieve the required anti-agglomeration effectiveness of polymer crumbs in water, reduced content of calcium stearate in commercial-grade rubber, avoiding a large number of steps of producing the anti-agglomerator, reduced content of chloride ions in waste water when separating synthetic rubber.
