FIELD: aerosol supply system.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol supply system, an aerosol generation method and a non-volatile computer-readable medium. The aerosol delivery system is configured to generate an aerosol from an aerosol generating substance for inhalation by the user, it comprises a computer configured to obtain user profile data characterizing the user's use of the aerosol delivery system depending on time, obtaining target usage profile data characterizing the intended use of the delivery system aerosol over time, estimating the difference between at least a portion of the user profile and a corresponding portion of the target usage profile over a given period of time. The computer is configured to adjust one or more operating parameters of the aerosol delivery system to at least partially match the user usage indicated by the user profile data with the intended usage of the aerosol delivery system for said predetermined period of time. The mapping distributes one or more of: the total delivered active ingredient, indicated by the target usage profile, across the user's usage profile over a given period, as specified in the user's profile data; delivery of the active ingredient on the user's breaths in accordance with the schedule of breaths in the intended use of the aerosol delivery system; delivering the active ingredient during the user's respective inhalation depending on the difference between the expected inhalation time indicated by the user profile data and the corresponding target inhalation time.

EFFECT: adjustment of aerosol delivery settings based on user profile data is provided.
