SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a temperature adjustment system for an electronic vapour providing system, to a temperature adjustment method for an electronic vapour providing system, and to a machine-readable data carrier storing computer-executed instructions. The temperature adjustment system for an electronic vapour providing system (EVPS) comprises a sensor for detecting at least one air flow parameter in the EVPS and a user interface configured to receive an indication from the user that the EVPS inhalation was too hot. The system also comprises a processor configured to detect, in response to the received indication, whether the difference in at least one air flow parameter deviates from the expected value by a predetermined amount, and if it does, the processor is configured to change at least the first aspect of the steam generation process to reduce the vapour temperature in the mouthpiece, based on the sensor data corresponding to said at least one air flow parameter in response to the received instruction.
EFFECT: ensured adjustment of the vapour temperature.
