SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hammer crushers used in fodder shops and feed mills for production of milled feedstuff components. Hammer crusher with vertical rotor shaft comprises rigidly attached to frame 1 cylindrical housing and receiving hopper 14 with a branch pipe for loading material into grinding chamber 2, as well as rotor 10 arranged in grinding chamber 2 on cantilever shaft 9, outlet branch pipe 18, cylindrical sieve 7, drive 13. Housing is made of two parts 3 and 4 installed one above the other. Upper part 3 is made in the form of a flange with central hole 5 and an elongated skirt directed towards lower part 4 of the housing, and contains cylindrical sieve 7 arranged in it. Upper part of the housing is connected to the branch pipe of the receiving hopper with the possibility of vertical movement along it. Lower part 4 of the housing is attached to frame 1 and is made in the form of a shell with a flat bottom, in the bottom there is bearing assembly 8, with a cantilever shaft of the rotor installed in it, which is connected by means of elastically finger coupling 11 with drive shaft.

EFFECT: uniform wear of hammers is provided in the crusher; the upper part of the housing is connected to the branch pipe of the receiving hopper with the possibility of vertical movement along it.
