SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in decorating glassware. Proposed method comprises screening, washing, drying, and spraying brass onto glassware surface. Further, an engraving step is carried out, followed by cleaning from glass slurry. Then the dishes are sent to the section for applying and fixing the protective layer of lacquer on the sprayed layer of brass. Then, a painting stage is carried out, wherein the areas of the dishware which are not to be dyed are pre-masked with a polyethylene tape, paint is applied on the parts of the dishware to be decorated, and the paint is fixed by annealing in muffle furnaces.
EFFECT: invention provides improved optical characteristics of glassware, such as reflectivity and contrast, as well as clarity of the border of decoration areas.
