FIELD: electroplating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating, namely: to formation of functional manganite-containing coatings on titanium substrate with different magnetic characteristics ferro-, ferri- and antiferromagnetic. Method of producing on titanium substrate oxide coating containing manganite composition La1-xCaxMnO3 (0≤x≤0.4), including plasma-electrolytic oxidation of titanium substrate in electrolyte containing 0.1 mol/l Na2SiO3·5H2O and 24 g/l of lanthanum manganite powder or lanthanum-calcium manganite, wherein oxidation is carried out in anode or anode-cathode mode at current density of 0.1–0.2 A/cm2 for 10–12 minutes.
EFFECT: coating on titanium substrate, containing in porous layer of TiO2 particles of manganite-containing multiferroic, which is obtained in a single step by plasma-electrolytic oxidation in a single-component electrolyte solution in both anode and anode-cathode modes.
