FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diagnostics, in particular to devices for monitoring and predicting operation of electrical equipment of armoured weapons. Proposed is a device for testing a starter-generator relay, comprising connectors "X1" (1) and "X2" (8), wherein connector "X1" (1), which is connected to the winding of the tested relay and the power supply, connected to signalling lamp "POWER" (2), indicating availability of power in the device and connected to fuse "Pr-10A" (3), preventing failure in case of short circuit, connected to ammeter "I contact" (4), indicating force current passing through relay contacts, connected to "ON winding" button (5), which supplies voltage to adjustable voltage converter "U winding –/+" (6), connected to voltmeter "U winding" (7), which allows to control supply of required voltage to winding of starter-generator relay. Voltmeter "U winding" (7) is connected to three signalling lamps (9-11), which indicate presence of closure or opening of contacts of diagnosed relay and connected to connector "X2" (8), which allows connection to power outputs of relay contacts.

EFFECT: possibility of timely detection of occurred fault, increase of reliability of prediction of residual resource, reduction of time for search of occurred fault of relay.
