SUBSTANCE: it may be used for definition of technical condition of an electrical equipment of a sample of armored armament equipped with two-stage systems of electrical starting of an internal-combustion engine (a breaking, a short circuit) of a connecting electrical circuit the cause of the breakdown of the system of electrical starting of the engine. The device for diagnostics of the system of electrical starting has a commutation and coupling block, a measuring block, an analog-digital converter, a second source of feeding, a testing signals forming block, a signals processing module, a commands introduction block, a control block, a constant rewriting storage arrangement, a reference matrix module, a comparison module, a faultiness searching module, a messages forming module, a feeding block and a visualization block which are correspondingly connected between themselves.
