Abstract RU 2819741 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Surgical treatment of cataract or phacosclerosis is carried out by means of femtosecond laser (FSL) with prevention of intraoperative miosis. Main incision, paracenteses, capsulorhexis and lens fragmentation are performed by means of FSL energy. It involves hydrodissection and hydrodelination, phacoemulsification of lens masses and implantation of an intraocular lens. 1 day before the operation, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparations are instilled into the conjunctival sac, which is represented by Nepafenac 0.1% 3 times a day or Diclofenac 0.1% 4 times a day at regular intervals. Then the same preparations are instilled 2 hours, 45 minutes, 30 minutes and 15 minutes before the stage of femtosecond assistance. 10 minutes before the femtosecond assistance stage, the patient’s anterior eye segment is exposed to a helium-neon laser for 3–5 minutes, with wave length 0.63 mcm, power 5 mW, spot size 9–11 mm. Thereafter, the patient undergoes femtosecond assistance with lens fragmentation at 1–2 mm from the pupillary edge of the iris.

EFFECT: method enables reducing the level of inflammatory mediators, reducing the alterative phase of inflammation in the anterior chamber, reducing injuries associated with femtosecond assistance, preventing intraoperative miosis.
