SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a steam hairdressing device (1) for shaping hair, comprising: first sidepiece (2) and second sidepiece (3), located opposite each other and connected to each other; fluid reservoir; first and/or second sidepiece (2, 3) additionally comprises: evaporation system (7) for evaporation of liquid into steam, comprising at least one evaporation chamber (71) having an inner surface and communicating by means of injection pipe (74) with a liquid reservoir, wherein injection tube (74) has a free end forming a point of injection of liquid into evaporation chamber (71); and steam distribution system (7') for distribution of steam coming from evaporation system (7), containing at least one steam distribution hole (75) for distribution of steam in direction of at least one strand of hair; wherein injection pipe (74) comprises a slot extending substantially along injection pipe (74) from a free end forming an injection point, wherein said slot is shaped to allow fluid to flow from reservoir into evaporation chamber (71) in case of scale accumulation and deposition on injection tube (74) free end.
