FIELD: oil refining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil refining, namely to processing of heavy oil, and can be used to produce gasoline and diesel fractions. Invention relates to a method of processing heavy oils with high content of asphaltenes and sulphur into gasoline and diesel fractions by catalytic cracking with a dispersed catalyst based on nickel and cobalt, wherein the catalyst used is salts of hexahydrate nickel and cobalt nitrates or solutions thereof in acetone, taken in ratio of 1:1, during cracking in situ forming nickel oxide and cobalt each in amount of 0.15–0.50 wt.% respectively, the process is carried out at temperature of 450 °C.
EFFECT: increased output of gasoline (HK-200 °C) and diesel (200–360 °C) fractions from 30 to 40 wt.%.
