SUBSTANCE: method of forming pairs of packs, including providing the supply of individual packs (100), arranging the first pack in vertical transfer device (40), arrangement of the second pack in the vertical transportation device (40) so that the second pack is located, vertically separated from the first package in the vertical transportation device (40). Method further includes vertical transportation of the first and second packs in the vertical transfer device, then simultaneous pushing of the first and second packs as a pair of packs from the vertical transfer device into containing device (50), wherein said first and second packs are displaced vertically as a pair of packs into horizontal transfer device.
EFFECT: method can be used in preparing packs for gluing excise stamps on packs of different sizes.
