FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to dentistry, and is intended for use in treating chronic periodontitis complicated by perforation of the bottom of the crown cavity of the tooth in the area of furcation, and periodontal tissues. Carious cavity is prepared, root canals are processed and filled according to indications, perforation is closed, therapeutic preparation is introduced into the focus of destruction of bone tissue. After professional oral hygiene, its antiseptic treatment is followed by drug-induced treatment of the area of the problem tooth with its subsequent endodontic treatment. At that, temporary application on perforation hole in area of furcation at bottom of crown cavity of tooth and temporary filling of root canals is performed with therapeutic preparation "Apexdent" with iodoform, and temporary closure of crown part of tooth is performed with dressing "Dentine-paste". Thereafter, periapical-periodontal treatment is performed, wherein the introduction of the therapeutic preparation into the bone tissue destruction centre in the root area and simultaneously into the furcation area is carried out until elastic resistance appears through treated periodontal pockets with drug "Alvostase" (sponge) with subsequent filling of periodontal pockets to loose filling with said agent, leaving a free space with height of 2 mm above "Alvostase" (sponge) to gingival edge, with change of preparation in subsequent visits, with application on gingival edges of alginate plates "Superlimf" in area of tooth, and tight obturation of root canals is performed with "Sealopex" paste and gutta-percha points. Thereafter, the perforation in the furcation area at the bottom of the crown cavity of the tooth is closed by applying an insulating liner with Vitrebond, followed by its polymerisation and restoration of the crown portion of the tooth with Filtek Z250. Thereafter, the hardened composite is ground and polished according to a standard technique to obtain a smooth and even surface not different from dental tissues; the whole treatment is carried out using radiation imaging techniques.
EFFECT: method, due to the use of ready-made official drugs having prolonged action to achieve stable remission, enables to prevent the inflammatory process in the periodontium, reduce the length of treatment, restore bone tissue in furcation, parodontal and periodontal zones.
