SUBSTANCE: method of detecting breakage in a current transformer with two cores. Disclosed is a current transformer with two cores, having a power supply coil (L1) for extracting electrical energy from the bus and a measuring coil (L2) for measuring bus current. Voltage signal processing circuit is connected to the output end of the power supply coil (L1) and is configured to output an indication signal S when the bus current is greater than or equal to I. Voltage signal processing circuit output signal and bus current measurement value Irms obtained by measuring coil (L2) are continuously monitored, and the fault caused by the breakage in the current transformer with two cores is detected and determined in accordance with the control result. Also disclosed is a device for detecting breakage in a current transformer with two cores and an automatic circuit breaker.
