FIELD: materials handling facilities; bridge cranes for arched buildings.
SUBSTANCE: proposed jib contains craneway track, curvilinear bridge rigidly secured on bogies whose profile follow the profile of arch type building, and load trolley installed on bridge guides with load-lifting mechanism suspended from trolley and trolley travel-motion mechanism. Bridge is made in form of H-beam. Leaf-and-bush chain arranged on upper flange of beam is secured on ends of beam and designed for movement of trolley equipped with reduction gear drive with sprocket and brake. Upper flange of H-beam is provided with vertical beads between which leaf-and-bush chain is arranged.
EFFECT: simplified design of trolley travel-motion mechanism along bridge of arch type.
