FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering, in particular to phased antenna arrays, and is used in radio systems for satellite communication. Disclosed is a phased antenna array for satellite communication in the Ku-band, consisting of a receiving and a transmitting array and a reference device, according to the invention, the size of the receiving grid is 40 × 24 elementary radiating elements, and the size of the transmitting grid is 52 × 24 elementary radiating elements, wherein said elementary radiating element represents a strip antenna with a director and a quadrature bridge connected to a beam-forming microcircuit used to control the beam pattern.
EFFECT: creation of a phased antenna array with circular polarization for receiving and transmitting a signal and electronic scanning in a wide range of angles with high gain.
