METHOD FOR GENERATING A RADIATION PATTERN AND AN ANTENNA ARRAY FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC H01Q21/00

Abstract RU 2754653 C1

FIELD: antenna equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna equipment, in particular to antenna arrays designed for spatial separation of channels in a wireless communication network, and a method for forming a radiation pattern. The method for forming the antenna array radiation pattern consists in the fact that to determine the total number of radiating antenna elements, preliminary modeling is carried out, according to which the required total number of emitters is determined, antenna sublattices are formed, the type of radiating elements for each of the antenna sublattices is selected, depending on the requirements to the material and size of the antenna array, the operating frequency band, coordination with the supply line, directivity, polarization, angle and scanning plane, the size of the emitter, the location of the selected radiating elements of the antenna array as a single antenna array are optimized, depending on the required directivity, gain, side lobe level, polarization, angle and scanning plane, based on the requirements for the coverage area and the characteristics of radiation and scanning angle, the weighting coefficients of the phase distribution and amplitude of each radiating element of each antenna sublattice are determined and optimized, depending on the selected type of emitter and its place in the antenna array, dynamic scanning in the antenna array obtained using this simulation, is carried out by changing the amplitude and phase in at least one transceiver path by an amount that is either determined at the stage of determining the weighting coefficients, or due to the capabilities of the existing equipment.

EFFECT: extension of the range of antenna array solutions.
