FIELD: veterinary medicine; veterinary and sanitary examination.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for laboratory and parasitological control for the purpose of effective method of decontamination of muscle tissue samples from carnivores with trichinosis, investigated in laboratory conditions. Method for disinfection of muscle tissue samples from carnivores, invaded by larvae of Trichinella in laboratory conditions, consists in the fact that samples of muscle tissues invaded by Trichinella larvae are cut into pieces weighing not more than 2 kg and thickness of 10 cm, boiling for 1.5 hours at temperature of 100 °C and placing in 5% mother solution of calcium hypochlorite with exposure of 1 hour.
EFFECT: method provides effective disinfection of Trichinella larvae in laboratory conditions.
