FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods of concentration by evaporation and production of a product from a concentrate and devices for their implementation and can be used for concentration and purification of lithium chloride solutions at extraction sites of natural brines, as part of process chains when enriching lithium chloride solutions for further production of lithium chloride monohydrate or for other purposes. Concentration lithium chloride solution carried out by evaporation part of water from liquid. As initial solution for concentration there used is medium containing lithium, as heat carrier flow of hot gas is used. Evaporation is carried out in evaporator unit, which is a column combined with a circulating thickener tank, with liquid spraying from top to bottom in heat carrier flow. Concentration of the obtained concentrated solution with respect to lithium chloride is brought to 430 g/dm3 and more. Precipitated impurities are deposited in a circulating thickener tank of the evaporator unit, which is located below the column of the evaporator unit and is separated from the solution. Vapor-gas mixture obtained after contact with the solution is discharged from the evaporating unit through a heat exchanger with return of part of the thermal energy to the system.

EFFECT: provided obtaining purified concentrate of lithium chloride and lithium chloride monohydrate in cold climate conditions and gas availability as fuel.
