SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in industrial processing of brines to obtain calcium chloride, carnallite, potassium chloride and sodium chloride. Method of producing calcium chloride from brine involves evaporation of the initial brine in an evaporator comprising at least two evaporators. Primary evaporation of brine is carried out on second evaporator 4 due to secondary steam obtained on first evaporator 1. Secondary evaporation is carried out with initial steam on the first evaporation apparatus 1, as a result of which secondary steam is formed with a temperature lower than that of the initial steam. Initial brine used is calcium chloride type brine, containing calcium chloride in amount of more than 60 wt.% with respect to impurities of other chlorides—sodium, potassium, magnesium. During evaporation of the initial brine on the second evaporation apparatus 4 with increasing concentration of salts in the brine, sodium, potassium and magnesium chlorides, which are separated on second separator 5 to obtain a solid phase and a calcium chloride concentrate. Calcium chloride concentrate is sent for evaporation at first evaporator 1, where it is concentrated with precipitation of calcium chloride. Sediment is separated from steam at first separator 2 to obtain calcium chloride crystalline hydrate. Also disclosed is a version of the method of producing calcium chloride with additional production of carnallite.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to simplify the design of the evaporation plant, to reduce losses of calcium chloride, to ensure saving of thermal energy due to use of secondary steam.
