SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for decontaminating reservoirs containing natural gas odorant, as well as its derivatives, and can be used in gas, petrochemical and related industries. Device comprises an electrolysis bath for electrolyte with cathodes installed on sides and an anode terminal installed on the flange of the decontaminated tank, rod cathode installed through hole inside decontaminated reservoir, tubular cathode installed through hole inside decontaminated reservoir, coarse filter of electrolyte solution, connected to electrolyte circulation pipeline through electrolyte circulation pump, supplying electrolyte solution through said tubular cathode inside decontaminated reservoir, surfactant dosing pump for dosing surfactant solution into electrolyte circulation pipeline, ultrasound generator and air blower.

EFFECT: device provides reduction of hazard class of substances obtained in the process of recycling, while reducing the time for complete and irreversible neutralization and deodorization of reservoirs.
