FIELD: ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to storage and transportation of ammunition, namely to case for mortar rounds or mines. Case for mortar rounds or mines comprises a body and end covers. Case body has a cylindrical shape. Case contains a movable carriage made with possibility of fixation. Case comprises two end covers with movable clamping bushings and spring retainers. Inner diameter of the case is greater than the diameter of the mortar round or mine with a guaranteed gap to ensure free movement of the mine in the case body. On the inner surface of the case body, in the central part in the plane perpendicular to the axis of the case body, there are segment slots for the retainer of the separating insert in the form of a carriage. On both sides of the case body there are segment recesses made with possibility of the carriage insertion. On the inner surface of the end sections of the case there are solid annular slots for the spring retainer of the end covers, which are two mechanically assembled elements - the end cover and the movable clamping bush. On the end surface of the movable clamping sleeve there is a fixed annular support gasket for contact with the end parts of the mortar round or mine. In the recess on the outer side of the end cover with the help of a shaped clamp fixed with screws, a spring retainer is installed, which is made with possibility of locking the axial movement of the end cover in the case body. Movable carriage consists of a carriage body in the form of a hollow metal cylinder with symmetrically located grooves on the outer surface, control sleeve in the form of a metal hollow cylinder with longitudinal adjusting slots and with a flange at one end, inserted with possibility of movement in the carriage body, as well as two polymer bushings fixed on the end of the carriage body by screws and on the flange of the control bushing by screws with a nut. Diameter of external surface of carriage body and polymer bushings corresponds to calibre of ammunition or mine.

EFFECT: creation of a rigid case for storage, carrying and transportation of shells, mortar mines and assembled mortar rounds with possibility of placement of shells, mortar mines and assembled mortar rounds of various shape and length.
