SUBSTANCE: invention relates to use of a composition containing nanoparticles as a liquid heat carrier in storage batteries or systems of electrical equipment. Composition contains a compound in the form of nanoparticles, an amorphous polymer compound and a base liquid. Compound in form of nanoparticles is selected from nanoparticles of metal nitride or metalloid, multi- or single-wall carbon nanotubes, carbon black, metal chalcogenides or their mixture. Amorphous polymer compound is obtained by polymerising a monomer composition containing functional monomers, alkyl(meth)acrylate monomers and a reaction product of an ester of (meth)acrylic acid with hydroxylated hydrogenated polybutadiene.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase heat capacity and stability of liquid heat carrier, as well as to reduce friction in electric system during its use.
