FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to directional drilling of wells. Device for drilling sections of underground wells used with a torque generator comprises an external tubular casing connected to the casing of the torque generator with possibility of rotation, an extension pipe, passing through the inner channel of the casing and forming an annular space between them, one or more fluid flow distributors located in the inner channel of the casing, one or more fluid flow throttles located in the annular space. At least one of the flow distributors serves to direct at least part of fluids pumped into the torque generator into the annular space as a fluid flow of the torque generator. One or more fluid medium flow throttles cause reduction of fluid pressure in the fluid medium flow of the torque generator passing through the annular space. Method of controlling the toolface consists in controlling the rotation speed of the drill string to maximize the torque generated by the torque generator for controlling the directional movement of the toolface during drilling.
EFFECT: higher reliability of well drilling.
