FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to interventional surgery. A sclerotherapy of nodule with 95% ethanol is carried out pointwise using 22G needle along the entire perimeter of the nodule in a total volume of not more than 20% of the nodule volume. After 1 month, radiofrequency ablation of the node is carried out with power of 36–65 W at temperature of 105 °C for 5–15 minutes using a radio frequency generator "RF Ablation System Mygen M-3004".

EFFECT: method enables reducing the time of thyroid status recovery to the euthyroid state, reducing the risk of intraoperative and postoperative complications, and reducing the length of the operation.
