Abstract RU 2410037 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: for prevention of a progressing autoimmune process accompanying a nodular goiter surgery. That is ensured by the introduction of a glucocorticoid suspension between external and internal leaves of a IV cervical fascia when excising a thyroid gland. 1 ml of the suspension contains 25 mg of hydrocortisone acetate and 5 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride. The introduction is carried out at 1 ml of the suspension per 3 cm of thyroid tissue.

EFFECT: method allows to provide the prevention of the progressing autoimmune process in a preserved thyroid tissue and to reduce the risk of development of postoperative hypothyroidism due to the introduction of a preparation so that to avoid an additional damage of the gland tissue, and due to the inhibition of development of lymphoid infiltration and fibrosis without mitosostatic effect on the thyroid tissue.
