SUBSTANCE: working member for soil treatment with a safety mechanism contains horizontal knife (3) mounted on post (1) by means of vertical hinge (2). Cutting edge (4) of horizontal knife (3) is made along arc of circle R1, which is conjugated through arc of circle R2 with centre coinciding with centre of axis of vertical hinge (2), and with side surface of horizontal knife (3). Between fastening plates (5 and 6) of vertical hinge (2) there is rigidly fixed limiter of vertical movement (7) resting on lower fastening plate (5) of vertical hinge (2). On upper fastening plate (6) of vertical hinge (2) there are holes with possibility of installation of upper hook of spring (9). Chamfers are made at the ends of fastening plates (5 and 6). Lower spring hook (9) is installed in the hole of vertical movement limiter (7). On the upper surface of upper fastening plate (6) sleeve (10) is rigidly fixed with a screw groove of height l and with an angle of its rise α, in which is installed with possibility of rotation and movement along it support roller located on axis, rigidly fixed on vertical hinge (2) at the level of not less than radius of support roller from upper surface of upper fastening plate (6). Sleeve (10) is made with height L=l+Δ, where l is the helical groove height, which is equal to or greater than spring (9) stroke, Δ – height of sleeve (10) without screw groove.

EFFECT: improves the reliability of the working member and simplifies the assembly of the structure.
