SUBSTANCE: communication terminal comprising: a receiving unit configured to receive an index for transmitting a random access preamble; and a control unit configured, when a two-step random access procedure is applied, to configure a time domain resource, indicated by an index for a two-step random access procedure included in said index, as a time domain resource for transmitting a random access preamble, wherein said index includes an additional index, which is an index for a two-step random access procedure, wherein the additional index is indicated by an index with a value greater than or equal to 256, wherein the index with a value greater than or equal to 256 is included in the RACH-ConfigGeneric information element specified for a two-step random access procedure.
EFFECT: providing suppression of interference rendered by a terminal to another communication system when the terminal transmits a random access preamble.
