FIELD: radio communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a user device and a base station in a radio communication system. In particular, a user device is disclosed for communicating with a base station using a radio frame. Said user equipment comprises a receiving module configured to receive from a base station an index associated with an RACH configuration table indicating the allocation of RACH resources in a radio frame, a control module configured to find an available RACH resource based on a plurality of different RACH configuration tables and said index, and a transmission module configured to transmit the preamble to the base station using the available RACH resource found in this way.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the rational notification of the user device about the available resources during the initial access to the radio communication system.
