FIELD: processing of secondary raw materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to extract lithium from lithium-ion accumulator batteries. Method involves crushing of accumulators in a crusher, transfer of the mass obtained after crushing to a sieve, its combustion in an ozone flow and registration of carbon dioxide emission with a sensor. After release of carbon dioxide, the obtained residues are transferred into a solution of ammonium carbonate with dissolution of lithium and filtered by Co, Ni, Mn, Fe, Cu, Al.
EFFECT: providing energy efficiency of lithium extraction with simultaneously low requirements to corrosion resistance of the used equipment and increase of lithium purity.
